MEDITATION

Meditation is so simple, replace that word with simply stopping & breathing. Meditation does truly amazing things to our body, mind & soul but here I want to focus on how great it actually is for our body and our mind! Firstly, if ever you are seeking relaxation and an amazing tool (weapon) to defeat stress... MEDITATION IS A GREAT IDEA. Practice it for 20 minutes a day, practice it for 5 minutes a day, whatever suits the individual but if you allow it to assist you, it will.

Meditation is truly a gift and once we form a habit of it, it can truly allow you to be free of stress and basically be used as a balance provider if you ever need a reset or any sort of balancing.

Meditation calm the mind and even calms the body.

Meditation is an absolutely magical hack to live this experience the way it’s meant to be lived. It allows you to be you, it allows balance, it allows calmness, it allows clarity, it allows you to just be you.

PRACTICE: The first thing I want to mention here is don't put pressure on yourself with being perfect at it straight away as like anything, practice will lead to improvement. Anyway, find a quiet place away from any distractions and allow some time for yourself, sit or lay there in silence with calming sounds or no sounds and basically just focus on your breath and calmly & slowly breath.

Thoughts may be there & that's fine, allow the thoughts to be there but do your best to not connect with those thoughts, instead allowing those thoughts to be like clouds floating above you & away. As soon as your awareness is away from your breath, slowly bring your attention back to the breath. Please be patient with yourself.

Meditation is probably the Healthiest Habit I can recommend as it's amazing for your health & even growth! It's something that doesn't have to be done for a long period of time (even 1 minute a day can be a start) but I recommend daily practice.

Attempting to find a habitual practice time, say if it's just as you get up in the morning or when you're about to go to bed at night will assist in maintaining this beautiful gift of a habit.

 

PRACTICE: When you have used a lot of energy, for example after a busy day at work or after a busy session or whatever, slow down & practice meditation. This will slow you down & calm you down allowing in a beautiful fresh start to the rest of your day with clean energy & a clear mind!​​​
